Working Together to Save Salmon
The Thompson-Shuswap Salmon Collaborative (TSSC) is a technical collaborative that brings together the Secwépemc Fisheries Commission (SFC), Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO), and the BC Ministry of Water, Land and Resource Stewardship (WLRS).
TSSC conducts our work in the Thompson-Shuswap region, which is located in the interior of British Columbia, Canada. The TSSC focuses on current and potential salmonid habitats in the Thompson River watershed.
The key principles for how the TSSC operates together include being action oriented, working together collaboratively, cooperatively and respectfully, and operating with transparency. Our Steering Committee (SC) leads the work of the TSSC, Technical Working Groups, and Sub-Committees.
