Working Together to Save Salmon
NetMap is a geospatial modelling application for ArcGIS Pro that allows users to visualize virtual watersheds and run analyses using a variety of tools related to fluvial processes, aquatic habitats, riparian areas, erosion, roads, wildfire, and climate change. The various tools available in NetMap can be used to identify candidate areas for specific types of restoration or to highlight potential restoration projects at a particular site of interest. The TSSC used Netmap’s virtual watershed capabilities to identify and recommend locations for restoration actions in the Deadman and Bonaparte Rivers. For more information on how the TSSC used NetMap to identify restoration actions, refer to the Development and Implementation of NetMap Tools . For information on specific tools in NetMap, refer to the online Technical Help Guide provided by TerrainWorks.
